Anyone being surprised?

Hi ladies! Has anyone decided NOT to find out the gender EVEN THOUGH you are an insane Type A planner? 
It will kill me, no doubt, but I think this is one of life’s greatest surprises, and one of the very few surprises left...in a world where we can see who’s calling us, find out everything about people’s lives on social media, and even see what’s coming in the mail before it arrives. 😜
Also, are you and your partner in disagreement about it? My husband really wants to find out, but I’m hoping he will change his mind. This is crazy for us - he is the laidback one who HATES making plans in advance, and I’m the one who has to have every minute of life mapped out. 😂

We waited to find out and I’m the same way 100% type A and my husband wasn’t on board at first but the further along we went surprisingly the easier it got. One of the things that motivated me was that I decided that when the baby was born I wanted my husband to announce the gender instead of the Dr and it played out perfectly! Hearing him say “it’s a girl” was one of the best memories from my Delivery! 💞💕💓

we are waiting to find out (34 weeks) my husband also wanted to find out but didn’t push it— the things that convinced us most besides wanting the surprise were that EVERYBODY we asked who had multiple kids and found out with some and were surprised with some (aka had experienced both) said that they preferred being surprised. every. single. one. also i had a friend tell me that some study showed you are less likely to experience postpartum depression if you don’t find out, but i’m not sure how reliable that is because ive never seen anything on that

I could have gone without knowing the sex of the baby but my husband couldn’t wait. I wasn’t hard set on not knowing so i compromised. I know that for my husband knowing the gender helped him bond with the pregnancy & baby- it made the baby more real versus it being some vague thing that was happening. Which to me was more important than me not finding out.

We are both mega planners and something switched when I finally got pregnant. We both don’t want to know and we are trying to stay relaxed about the whole thing. It’ll be such a beautiful surprise finding out at the birth - plus our baby items won’t be so obviously gender stereotyped.

Haha! I didn't want to find, I really wanted to keep it a surprise. But my husband really wants to know. He feels very distant from the pregnancy and can't really bond. He's deployed and said the one thing that will keep the excitement is knowing whether he will come home to another daughter or his first son! Either way he is happy he just really wants to know haha. 
I was planning on keeping it a surprise and showing up with our third child when he comes home lol but that won't happen lol

I really wanted to be surprised but since I had my first ultrasound idk if I can wait 😍😍 my boyfriend and my mom both wanted to find out if I didn’t but I know my boyfriend would cave and tell me and I would be so upset so I’m just going to find out.
