Losing mucus plug?

I’m just wondering if it’s part of my mucus plug I’m losing. I’m 24 weeks today and have been having mucus like discharge the past couple of days. I’m not having any cramping or anything concerning. I’ve heard it can regenerate itself throughout pregnancy. I will be calling my OB tomorrow just wondering if anyone else has gone through this?

I’m 25 weeks and getting something that sounds similar once a week for a few weeks now. My obgyn says it’s not exactly the mucus plug but it is the mucus that covers the entrance to the cervix if that makes sense. She said it’s normal and nothing to worry about, it keeps replacing itself.

If you are having mucus like discharge it’s your body’s way of protecting any bacteria or anything getting into the cervix. It’s just the natural cleaning process.

Yep! The other day I lost such a big chunk I called my OB. He said it’s totally normal and as long as it’s not bloody or accompanied with cramping or diarrhea to not worry. This is my second baby though so I kinda freaked out since my first I went into labor after losing my plug. I was 41 weeks though

I did with my last pregnancy! I lost a huge chunk of it around 20 ish weeks. I went to the hospital and all they did was monitor me, check me and then send me home because it’s normal and does regenerate. It’s kind of scary but nothing to worry about.
