Pronunciation of Amias?
We need names that can be said in many languages (English, Swedish, Amharic, French, and Spanish...even if they're not pronounced the same across each language, or common). We have adored the name Amias for a boy since beginning to try to conceive for its meaning (loved), its Latin root, and its connection to my maiden name. We have our preferred pronunciation, but I'm wondering how most would pronounce it in English. And if anyone speaks any other language fluently, please share how you would pronounce it in that language!
