do guys really think this...

so, I’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 months now and I got on birth control but it takes a month to be effective. And we’re not really in a big rush to have sex - I’m 21, he’s 19 & a virgin. I’m pretty much a virgin too, never even touched a dick yet. I tried having sex before but it was painful and that relationship ended. I had another relationship for a year and half where there wasn’t any sex since he wanted to wait until marriage.

My mom found out I got on birth control and keeps telling me that he won’t love me anymore if we have sex

That sex changes the whole relationship

And how he’ll never marry me if I do it

(My mom is very Christian and pro waiting until marriage even tho she didn’t)

I’m Christian too and so is my boyfriend but we believe it’s okay if we are committed, faithful, love and trust one another.

He wants to get married in two years, even though we aren’t waiting for sex (which is crazy to me, I thought a guy wouldn’t marry me if we were having sex)

But is it true it’ll change our relationship?

That he’ll love me less?
