first ultrasound: Baby and polyp?

Today I had my first ultrasound. in one corner my little bean was visible, 8 weeks one day and wit a strong heartbeat. on the other side a lump of tissue of approximately 3 cm. My doctor is not sure what it could be but said it could be a polyp. My doctor is going to discuss my ultrasound with a group of peers and come back to me, but maybe there is somebody here who had a simular experience? I am quite scared now to be honest and feel pretty conflicted😢
