Period x2? Help!

Ok girls... kinda freaking out... I had my period about a week or so ago, but today when I went to the restroom (Ik ik TMI) but when I whipped I found blood? Is this a period... Two times in a month?! Or do I have some thing up. No, not sexually active, not On the pill, nothing...? (Still a teen)  Any comments, advice? Muchh appreciated!

I have hypothyroidism which causes my periods to be irregular. One time last year, I hadn't had my period over a course of six months! IT WAS HEAVEN even though I still got the cramps. Anyway, my periods kind of overlapped a bit. I think you are perfectly normal

Commonly women have their regular period from one ovary every month, the same ovary over and over again. If you get a period between your normal cycle periods, most likely it's your other ovary wanting a share of the glory. The odd-ball ovary will release whenever it wants to, and will release an egg and lining that will present itself mid-cycle and sometimes just dark brown. It's nothing to worry about. If it happens every month, you should consult your obgyn, because the odd-ball ovary usually won't have its own monthly cycle.

It's not uncommon to spot between periods! This may be something that you experience, especially if you haven't had your period for very long. Sometimes your cycle is just weird! I've gotten my period twice in 1 month before, and then it never happened again. If this is occurring repeatedly then I would consult your doctor.
