Hello all!

So recently my husband and I underwent some fertility testing and I just got my results back. Everything was clear (HSG) and my blood work looked alright with the exception of slightly elevated insulin. So my doctor put me on Metformin 1500mg per day. Although I’m starting at 500mg a day then 1000mg then on the third week it’ll be 1500mg. Although i ovulated this last cycle he thinks I may not have been every cycle due to the high insulin.

Have any of you ladies ever been on this medication and gotten pregnant? I’ve also started eating much healthier and I am starting to exercise to lose the weight so they can take me off this medication.

Did any of you also experience any side effects to if?
