Why does Glow assume I am heterosexual and having sex with men?

There should be an option in my profile to mark that I am not having sex with men. I don't need a reminder to use contraception! I'm using this app to track my period and to later down the line know when ovulating for pregnancy. There could also be boards about sperm lesbian advice on sperm donors, pregnancy trials, etc.

This app is aimed at couples trying to conceive or those avoiding pregnancy. So yeah, it's more of a market for heterosexual couples, you shouldn't need to log sexual encounters with same sex partners since there's no chance of getting pregnant.

I personally like the way the app is set up. I get tired of constantly having everything be set up to make everyone on the planet happy. Maybe we all don't want to see the option of homosexual every time we log intercourse.  If this app doesn't suit your needs try to find one that does? I think ruby would be a good option for you as well.

I think this would be great if when you set up your profile it asks whether or not you and your partner are both male (which would be handy for those gay couples experiencing adoption and wanting to stay in touch with the feminine body), lesbian couples (who are also trying to get pregnant, and of course heterosexual couples. No one should feel left out

I think since this app is mostly geared towards avoiding pregnancy and tracking periods, there really isn't a need to log having sex if there isn't a chance you could get pregnant from it. Maybe write a review in the App Store and see if they consider adding something like that.

Maybe I don't want the option of seeing all contraception options every time I log? I will be getting pregnant over the next few years so want to become more familiar with ovulation. All sex- hetero, homo, as well as masturbation should be recorded, as it effects your health.
