Husband is less interested

Last month, my husband and I made the decision to start trying to conceive. I’ve been talking about it for a year, but he was not ready. Each time we talked about it, he seemed more and more open to the idea, but I tried not to push it. Last month we had the conversation again and he agreed that he wanted to start seriously trying. I am SO excited, but he seems not that excited even though he said he wanted to! Every time I talk about anything baby related, he shows little interest. I know he will be over the moon once we actually have a baby though. Has anyone else dealt with their husband being significantly less interested in the process than them??
