I don’t even know what to do right now. My sister is missing. No one has heard from her since this morning. She had a pretty bad time in her life where she started using drugs as a way to deal with her severe anxiety. She has been clean for almost 8 months and things were looking so good for her. Today, she went to court to finalize her rights to her daughter. It has been a long battle but she was finally given rights back and was supposed to visit her daughter at 3pm today. She has been talking about this day for weeks. She never showed up. That is NOT like my sister at all. She loves her daughter more than anything and fought hard to get her back. She would never just not show up. My sister is also 16 weeks pregnant. I am also pregnant and me and my sister were so happy to be pregnant together and she comes over multiple times a week and spends the night at my house and we just talk about our babies and whatever else. She has never once expressed to me any troubles that she may have been dealing with or that she wants to use drugs. If anything, she was counting the days of being sober and was extremely proud of herself and looking forward to the future.

A friend of ours was able to log in to her Facebook messenger and saw a message that is scaring the shit out of me. She messaged a guy that she knew and basically said that she was at court and a guy that she owed money to from when she was using drugs saw her and was holding her at gunpoint telling her to give the money that she owes him or he is going to give her to someone against her will. She asked her friend to send her the money that she owes this man but her friend said he didn’t have the money. No one has heard from her since.

Part of me thinks that this could have been just to get money to use drugs and maybe she relapsed. But I’d like to believe that my sister would never use while pregnant. Also, she had no reason to seek drugs when so many good things are happening for her. She even mentioned in this message that she has to get out of there so she can see her daughter at 3 and that she just wants to see her daughter. Her friend never gave her any money so I don’t know how she would have even gotten drugs in the first place with no money.

The whole thing seems so crazy. I am so scared. I feel like either way, something bad happened. Either she ended up relapsing and possibly overdosing or she is being held at gunpoint over money, or worse. We filed a missing persons report at the police station and the police are looking for her.

Please pray for my sister. Please pray that she is found safe.
