Want more kids??

Question

My bf opened up to be about not being sure if he wants to have kids. I’m already a mom of 1 boy. He’s about to be 9. He’s ok with that and will actually be meeting him soon. 
I’m ok with just my son but a part deep inside of me wants to try for a baby in the future. 
Should I bring it up? Or just let time decide what happens? 
I love this man! He’s been there for me like no one else has.

I would have a talk with him before he meets your boy. No point in having them meet if kids in the future is a deal breaker.

Honestly I’d leave before I get way too invested thinking he will change his mind. Talk to him but if it’s a strong NO, then that’s a deal breaker..

He’s okay with that or he would want to be a stepdad in the future? Big difference. Depends on what you expect of him I guess though. Sounds like you should have the convo.

I agree, wait until he meets your son and how he interacts with him. That can be a big deal break if he doesn’t even try with your son even though he doesn’t want any of his own.

I would honestly just wait and see what happens. You said that he doesn’t know if he wants kids not that he’s for sure that he’s always gonna be 100% against it. I honestly don’t even think it’s a necessary conversation right now.

If he still hasn’t met your child why are you so confident about having kids with him. Maybe wait and see how he treats your son before you make such a huge decision.
