Anyone had success ttc while still breastfeeding?

I have had no period since having my son and still breastfeeding. My husband and I were planning to wait until 2020 to ttc but now we are starting to get baby crazy already and are thinking of starting a few months prior to 2020. Anyone gotten pregnant without having your period return?

I conceived my August 18 baby while breastfeeding my Nov 16 baby. I got pregnant just after her first birthday and continued to nurse until she was 16 months and I was 4.5 months pregnant.

I have a 10 month old and currently breastfeeding but don’t make enough so I supplement with formula and I just found out I was pregnant again! I got my period back around 5-6 months but it was heavy one month and not the next so hard to tell    Good luck!

I have a 9 month old (EBF) and am currently 7 weeks pregnant. Still breastfeeding even though it’s starting to hurt. :( I’m hoping to BF as long as possible, and even tandem nurse when baby #2 arrives.

I am 5 weeks today and still breastfeeding. I had one period before getting pregnant but it was really light. My son is going such long periods in between feedings that it must have made me get my period back.

I am currently pregnant and breastfeeding. I did get my period back but it was super irregular. I would get it then skip a month or two. I would suggest using OPKs every day. I know it’s a pain but it is possible to ovulate and not get your period yet. I caught myself ovulating without a period using them. Also you can temp if you want but I never had the discipline to do that 😊 my baby is 10 months old and I am currently 8 and a half weeks. Just know if you do get pregnant your milk supply can decrease and at some point in your pregnancy you may have to wean your baby off. My doctor just told me I can continue to BF until I am about 24 weeks because from that point on continuing to BF could cause me to go into labor (because it makes your uterus contract).
