Anybody else experience this?

So after having my little girl Monday I was unable to urinate and had a catheter inserted for 72 hours which ends tomorrow morning. Anybody have this happen and we're able to pee once it was taken out? Terrified I'll never be able to wee on my own again

I had this issue in the hospital last week for just a few hours and I was freaking out. One of the nurses came in and told me to take my ice water cup the hospital gives you into the bathroom. Make sure it has a straw in it. Sit on the toilet and start blowing bubbles with your water and for me it did the trick and it got me peeing on my own again!

I had a hard time holding my pee. N it hurt to pee the first day they took it out but there are exercises you can do to be able to hold your pee again.

Yup and it then hurt to pee. After a few days I developed a UTI from it.

Yes my first child destroyed me I had a catheter in for a week as I was really swollen I had to be admitted back into hospital cause I was just that swollen and I think the swelling was from the nurses pulling the thing in and out all day for a week straight :( that shit hurt more then the birth :(
