Habitat for Humanity

I’m pretty sure they offer this program in different states.. I live in Ohio.. Anyways, has anyone gone through this program? If so, what did you have to have or do to be qualified for it? My husband & I are tired of renting, we want a home that we can invest our money in & just have it as our own instead of throwing money down the drain by renting.. The program is Habitat for Humanity.. I looked online & it doesn’t really come straight forward & say what you need to be qualified for it.. I emailed our local office that offers it, but have yet to receive anything back.. So please tell me what you had to do! Thank you! ☺️
