Letting others hold your baby!
Personally, I'm not keen on other people's children, however within a family it's a bit different. My SIL for the first 8 months (now 11months) wouldn't let anyone hold her baby, even her brothers, mother. And if anyone hold her, she watches like a hawk. I feel like I just have to roll my eyes! I never held the baby and I don't care to. It would be nice but I can't stand parents who just feel like their child is untouchable. My attitude is more laid back and I will be letting my baby held by people within the family. Not only is it better for getting the child familiar with loved ones but as they say, "it takes a village to raise a child" it's also helpful for me and family can enjoy the time with the baby. So everybody wins.
