Clomid stories?

So we have been trying for eight months with no success.  (It took us 6 to get my 18 month old).  My ib wanted to do some tests (I am 34 so no time like the present, eh?) And turns out I am not ovulating.  :(  obviously clomid was suggested...just windering if anyone has any incite.  Have you used it?  How was it?  Was it sucessful?   Was it wildly sucessful (read multiples)?  I just dint know what I want to do and any thoughts on this are appreciated.

I don't ovulate either. I used Clomid to get pregnant with my daughter. I took it on days 3-7. It took on the second round (100mg). I probably could've gotten pregnant on the first but I didn't think to use ovulation sticks. We are now trying for baby #2 and have the Clomid to take, I just started my period yesterday and  really excited to see if this first round takes. Good luck with your journey. *Baby Dust* to you!

I just finished my first cycle of 50mg and was tested on CD21 yesterday. I haven't heard back yet, but am hoping for the best. Was told to take it on days 5-9 of my cycle and experienced a headache the first day. The week of scheduled ovulation was another story. I had really bad cramps all week and felt like my pelvic area was really heavy. I was told that it was normal, but how are you supposed to have fun with your spouse when you feel like crap! I will do anything if it means that I have a chance of starting a family. Good luck on your journey!
