Who dyed their hair during their 2nd trimester?

I dyed mine darker all over and I am getting a lot of nasty comments from women. I did my research, doc said it was fine in a well ventilated area and in my second trimester. Hair salon knew about it and was not worried at all. I just want some mom opinions!

Ppl are stupid. The doctor says it's ok and so do cosmetologists, and that's kind of their area of expertise. So everyone else's opinions are invalid. If you didn't go to school for it and have to specifically learn whether or not it's safe then it's dumb to comment. I'll be dying my hair soon and I'm pregnant. And if this came off harsh then so be it.. This just gets under my skin when ppl ignorantly bash pregnant women for their every move. Lol rant over. Dye your hair momma's and enjoy it!!

I did it once during my first trimester and will continue to touch up my roots into my 2nd and 3rd. You did your research, talked to your doc and let the stylist know you are pregnant. Anyone who claims that's irresponsible can just stfu!! Lol Pregnancy hormones talking but you get the point.

I dyed my hair several times throughout my pregnancy and my doctor said its fine as long as I'm in a well ventilated area. Just ignore the nasty comments from women!

The hair color doesn't get into your scalp. No way does it get into your body unless you eat it! The only thing would be the smell might be strong, or sometimes pregnant women's hair has a different reaction than it normally would to the chemicals so it might turn out different than intended. I have been doing hair for 9 yrs. I'm also pregnant and I color my own hair every 6 weeks and never had any concerns or problems.

My concern is coloring the roots, I believe applying all those nasty chemicals on your scalp for that amount of time can't be good so at 28 weeks I still haven't done mine. Sporting new hairstyles and accessories in the mean time and proud of my "mama to be  darker roots" lol. 
It's not easy all the time so I told myself that I will go get them done 1 week before my due date if everything goes well, at this point he will be cooked lol.
If you can't wait maybe try to avoid the roots...

I recently shaved my head, and it's growing back. So I'm never dying my hair ever again haha if I hadn't, and needed to dye my hair.. I would during pregnancy. It is safe, and does not harm the baby/babies. 😊

I have decided not to dye my hair until i have given birth.. It's just a few more weeks and I'll be a mom anyway! 😊 but it was really tempting for me even on my first trimester coz i am used to always dying my hair like almost every month before i got pregnant. 😁
