Hi My name is Brittany and im not only a survior of sexual assault as child and teen but also a domestic violence survivor. I didnt have the greatest ma as a child. The guy she lived with sexually abused me for the better part of a year and a half. He was convicted and only served 6yrs and 6m in prison. He moved back to the same area which was only a 2hr drive from where i moved after the verdict. At the age of 19 i was sexually assaulted at the first and last party i ever went to. I never reported bc he ended up dead a month later at the hands of someone else. At the age of 21 to 22 i was in a abusive relationship for about a yr and a half. He started out as any "nice" guy would then little by little it got progressively worse. Emotional and verbal abuse for the first few months. Then one night it got physical. I just gotten back from a weekend trip with my girls n guys when he started getting verbal and then physical. I was completely cut off from my friends for months after that. One night after work it exploded to where i ran as fast as i could crying wincing in pain from the beating. My best friend wanted to kill him. I begged her not to. Im gonna be 24 in a week and a half and ive never been happier
