Is 9 weeks to young to be in a swimming pool?

I know they make the long arm and leg swim suites and the floats with the top to give baby shade. My son LOVES bath time. Just wondering if it’s too young to let him get in with me for a few mins at a time?

I wouldn’t. Their skin is so sensitive and the chlorine might really irritate it

My girl loves the pool. We’ve been taking her since she was 9 weeks. She’s almost 13 weeks now! Just be careful if you decide to put sunscreen on your baby this early. I do only because she doesn’t have sensitive skin. It doesn’t bug her at all. We just give her a bath afterwards. And I use the Babyganics bug spray as well.

My son has been in the pool since 8 weeks old. He is now 11 weeks old. It is perfectly fine just be sure to take breaks and bring him inside. We have a great float for him too. Just remember to use the long sleeve suit

My LO has been in the pool since he was 5 weeks old. We go to a group called Water Babies and he absolutely loves it! I had doubts at first but it is one of the best things we do together, watching him go under water with the trainer is amazing!

I would avoid an indoor pool without good ventilation because the chlorine fumes can be pretty strong
