Does anyone else seriously miss their OB?

I’m two weeks pp and I miss my OB so much. This was the second delivery I had him for. He is amazing and so kind. He took care of both of my pregnancies which were high risk and dangerous at the end. Both times now I have felt a serious absence from delivery and miss my OB tremendously. I feel like a freak lol is anyone else with me?

I really liked my OB with my son. I actually didn’t really like her at first because I interpreted her demeanor as being standoffish when I think she is just more shy and didn’t want me to get my hopes up in those early weeks after having an ectopic a few weeks earlier. I did end up loving her, and she was so amazing for my c section. She ended up being pregnant and due a few months after me, and when I saw her at Target when my son was a few months old, she gave me a big hug. I am so sad that I won’t have her do my c section this time because she is out of the country for the two weeks around then. It is a period of time that brings you close to someone.

Oh my gosh, YES!! My ob delivered all 4 of my babies & he was SO calm and reassuring. 
When I got pregnant with my 4th, I had had an IUD. I really feel he felt partially responsible for it failing (we do not blame him and never would). He went above and beyond my last pregnancy and even stayed to talk to my husband for a long time while I was in active labor and before I delivered.
I’m actually sad that he won’t ever get to deliver another baby of mine! 😭

Me, too!! I thought it was silly at first but it gives me comfort knowing I’m not the only one who misses my OB. She is hilarious and was so supportive throughout my whole pregnancy.

I love my OB. Her daughter is 6 weeks older than my first, and I really wish I could ask her if they could have play dates.

My ob is also my primary doctor so I'm happy after I deliver I still get to see her!

I had the same midwife for both pregnancies. Now that she isn't in my life I often wonder if it would be weird to be friends...

I miss mine too. I got so used to seeing him all the time and we had our jokes 🤣
