I’ve been on birth control for 3 years and I take it everyday almost at the same time. A month ago my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex (he did not finish in me) and I had my period it just was very light. I’ve been taking my pills for the next month on time but my breasts have been very tender. Is there a chance I could be pregnant?

What do you define as “unprotected sex?” Technically, you’re protected by your pill. The pill can really lighten your periods too. Tender breasts could mean a few things, like a side effect of the birth control or your period is about to start. I usually experience sore breasts as well, and that’s usually an indication for me that my period will arrive in seven or so days, maybe less.
