Heat Rash remedies?

Pretty sure my baby has heat rash on his shoulders and neck. When I’ve googled treatments, everything says to just keep him dry & cool so we’ve been letting him be in just a diaper since last night and took his light short-sleeve onesies off when he had a light Halo swaddle on last night. When I look through posts on here though, a lot of people say they used diaper rash cream or aquaphor and it cleared up. Anyone have experience with this? Everything I read outside of this app said no lotions as that will block their pores more. Doesn’t seem to be bothering him at all, and Id rather wait until Monday to call the doctor if I can.
