New mom- diarrhea in one month old?

He just had a blow out of green poop.. watery. I’m so worried because I just recovered from c diff from my delivery. Is this normal poop?? I’ve never seen him have a green poop. He is formula fed and we haven’t changed his formula. Normally his poops are yellow and pasty. Why this green now?? Help! I’m so worried he got c diff from me!

Green poo is normal. It is okay!

Could be from the iron in the formula... the darker green but watery doesn’t sound good... watch for stool count. That’s what our pediatrician said... more about the count than consistency. I’d call the pediatrician and get an appointment for peace of mind because c diff is a serious thing so wanna make sure baby didn’t catch it.

Update- I figured it out! SO was pouring formula before the water... big issue. The formula to water ratio wasn’t right at all 😫

Ugh. I had c diff during my pregnancy. I know your pain! No fun. I’d be concerned too. Like another said, call your pediatrician for peace of mind.  I’d monitor it and see if it was just like this once or if it is going to stay like that and also if your baby seems to be in pain. I know c diff was extremely painful for me. I’m not using formula so I’m not sure how the poo should look. My girl has green poo sometimes and I read it could be from hind milk/fore milk imbalance.

My baby went from yello peanut butter consistency poop to green seedy poop and she's 100% fine. Doctor said its normal.
