Baby food pouches on airplane?

Question

Do baby food pouches explode on airplanes? I am traveling with my son tomorrow and I want to bring some food. I am arriving late at night so I won’t have time to go out and shop after the flight to buy baby food for the next day.
I have TSA precheck so the security thing shouldn’t be an issue. Just wondering if these are likely to explode? Should I put them in my checked bag or carry on?

They won’t explode but if those are over 3oz and TSA is feeling like an asshole, they might open all of them. That’s what happened to me, I had like 15 of them, TSA threatened to open them all to test. They have a short life span once opened. Luckily, the guy picked 3 random and let us go. Mine were 3.5 and 4oz. You’ll be fine if they’re in your checked bag though, just put them in a zip lock to be safe.

I flew today and had one pouch in my bag. Also had a thermos of milk. They didn’t comment about either.

I travel every few months, and I always have these with me. 
They will definitely not explode.  
However TSA might want to open them to test them. Most of the time they don’t give me trouble but the last time; they wanted me to open them. They said they could let 3.5 ounces slide, but if it was 4 ounces, they must be opened and tested.
