I was anorexic for 10 years and had to be hospitalized many times and was in inpatient treatment over 30 times (yes that's true). I didn't have a period that whole time until a year ago when I finally gained enough weight to get it back. I had a permanent feeding tube that ran 24 hours a day for 2 years. Well, that feeding tube got removed a few weeks ago and I'm eating enough to maintainy weight! It's been a long journey and I'm currently almost 7 weeks pregnant when every doctor told me it was unlikely that I would be able to get pregnant due to my history. I'm so excited and proud of myself! And my husband has been with me through everything and has never waivered in his love and support for me. Truly blessed.
