Why is pregnancy so lonely even if you have a great support system.

Is it just me?! I am STRUGGLING right now. I hate to complain. I’ve had miscarriages and a stillborn so this baby is truly a miracle but holy hell im having a hard time. 36 weeks pregnant and just DONE. I’m uncomfortable, emotional, irritable, and feel like I’m losing myself in this pregnancy. I have such a great support system yet feel completely alone. Is it just me?!

I think it’s totally normal to think feel all those things. In my experiences, I feel like pregnancy is all-consuming, like that’s all I am. I’m the pregnant person. To myself and to everyone else. I’m not myself anymore until the baby is born. So I think it is easy to feel a little disconnected, even though you’re not. It’s just not the same. 
I don’t know if that’s how you feel, or even if it makes sense. That’s just the best way I can explain the way it makes me feel.

I feel like this is normal. I have a wonderful support system too, and I couldn’t want this baby more, but sometimes pregnancy is very alienating and lonely. Hang in there we’re almost done!

🙋🏻‍♀️ nope you’re not alone. I’m so uncomfortable I am beyond grateful and trying not to complain since I’ve had miscarriages too but these cramps and Braxton-Hicks are hurting so bad. Ughh I just want this to be over and have my son!
