Anyone else’s baby start screaming a high pitch blood curdling scream when mad?

My son just started this and I am hoping he only does it for a short while. It is so loud it hurts your ears and he has done it several times out and about too. He does it usually when he wangs something like he drops his sippy cup or gets frustrated because he wants out of his stroller. Anyone else have a baby who started this?

Omg, yes! He started 5 days ago and it drives me crazy... His twin sister does not do it (at least, not yet!). So frustrating...

My baby will not scream but grunt really hard to the point he turns red! He will wave his arms and hit anything on his way. He will also throw things. I also hope it’s just a phase. My daughter would hit her head with her palm and grew out of it around 2 but we had to constantly stop her from doing it.

Yeah... at first I got angry with it because I HATE screaming. But I realized I was reinforcing the behavior so I started telling her that we don't scream like that, and asking her calmly what she wants. She'd at least stop screaching. She figured out how to point yesterday so hopefully that will start to help....

No but I've seen other babies at daycare simmilar in age do it a lot. My daughter seems to take her frustration out on her toys 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yup the passed couple of weeks. It's just out of frustration as they cant communicate properly yet. 😊
