Baby’s due 8/31
My daughter was born 6 1/2 weeks early so we are slightly preparing that it could happen again..they never knew what caused the premature labor.
So here is the issue- my brother/sister in laws have two kids, my niece (8/27) and nephew (8/17) and they live with us. My sister in law is planning on throwing them a birthday party at the house. The fact we could possibly have a newborn in the house has no influence on them doing it a different location. When I brought it up to her she shrugged it off. She said it’ll be small but to them “small” is still about 20-30 people who tend to stay waaay to late. The house belongs to my husbands parents, so I feel like I have no place to say anything as far as making it a bigger deal even with my husband.
Not sure what to do or if I’m right to be concerned even though the baby coming early isn’t a sure thing.
P.S. can we all stop being due date Nazis? I accidentally put September 31st instead of August...instead of just stating that I’m in the wrong group how about say something like, “did you mean 8/31 instead of 9/31?”
Especially since there is no 31st of September. I’ve been in this group for almost 8 months...I think we all know what group we are in at this point.
