Will/ did you let your newborn sleep with you in your bed?

I may get some heat for this, but I honestly think it’s not black or white as far as “safe/unsafe” 
I personally am a VERY light sleeper. My son is almost 2 now, but I would wake up if he wiggled his arm out of the swaddle and never made a peep. Now I wake up every time he so much as rolls over. It was safe for us. But I always slept between him and my hubby (before my hubby was on nights) because my husband is a very deep sleeper. 
If you are a heavy sleeper, or overly exhausted, I wouldn’t recommend it. 
I do highly, highly recommend the Snuggle Nest. It’s $50, and it’s sleep safe (unlike the Dock A Tot). It goes in your bed next to you, has mesh sides in case baby rolls, and is a firm surface for them. It gave me peace of mind and we used it the first 5 or 6 months.

I tried my hardest not to just cause I didnt want to risk it but sometimes I'd fall asleep while breastfeeding and hated myself for it when I woke up with her still in my arms

We used an arms reach. Then a crib inside our room for alittle. Of course there are nights when baby will end up in your bed. Just happens.

I was so exhausted that I was afraid I would roll onto her and not wake up. They have those little beds that you can use that attaches on the side of your bed. They also have those docatots that you can use in your bed.

No. “The study, published in the journal Pediatrics, found that among 8,207 infant deaths from 24 US states occurring between 2004-2012, 69% of infants were bed-sharing at the time of death.” 
It did happen a few times on accident because she would break feed every 1-2 hours at night. But I always did my best to put her in the bassinet next to my bed. It’s just not safe to bedshare.

I say no I will not. I want the bedroom to remain an intimate setting between my boyfriend and I. We are however going to get a recliner or love seat for the nursery so I can sleep in the babies room if it gets sick or in a situation like that.

I never let my babies sleep with me but next to me in a pack and play or bassinet. They were never more than an inch or two away.

My son slept in his crib until 3 months and then slowly he was in my bed everynight up until he was a year old lol

Nope!! Not a chance. We have a pack n play with bassinet that will be next to our bed the first few months. Then baby will go into her crib in her own room.
