What do you think? New Lgbtq+ flag... Again

I feel like I can't keep up it's ever changing. But I saw this and think it's ridiculous. I'm all for inclusion but LGBT is about sexual orientation not race... Why add race? Idk what do you think?

*the reason for adding brown/black race is because POC have higher rates of violence against them. So people think they need to be included/represented in the flag.

Are you a person of color? If not, then it makes sense you don’t understand. A black gay person’s experience of the world is different than a white gay person’s. It’s called intersectionality.

I mean I prefer the brown and black stripes to be parallel with the rest vs. in a triangle on the side, just for simplicity’s sake, but yeah if you don’t include queers of color then fuck your inclusion 🙂😇

i’m loving the colours, but i’m picky so i’d say i think it would be better if all of the line were going the same way. maybe split it in half and always leave room for growth? idk it almost looks messy with the triangle. but let’s go lgbt+ like yes kween

I think it should go back to the simple rainbow just coz it’s LGBTQ+ and there’s a lot included in the “+”. We can’t include everyone in the flag as we can’t in the title but they know for a fact they are part of the community. I feel like the rainbow is simple and nice and inclusive enough. Idk that’s just my take 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

The brown and black is ridiculous. You’re right the LGBT, though it does have racial discrimination, isn’t about race. That being said the racial discrimination doesn’t just happen to black peoples so if black people are really about being inclusive they should fight for all races being included. The flag is inclusive enough and it just seems that people are trying to feel special now.
