Work schedule changed without telling me
Ok, I understand that an employer doesn't have to tell their employees about schedule changes where I live, but it is extremely frustrating to have your schedule changed last minute without your employer saying a word to you. Today I was originally scheduled 2-9 but my manager changed the schedule to 9:45-9 without my knowledge. At 10 my coworker texted me to ask where I was. I told him I had been scheduled at 2. Of course I rushed to get ready and get to work, but it is impossible to be prepared for a schedule change, especially when you don't work every day and the schedule is only posted at work, they don't have it posted online like most other jobs I've had. I know there's nothing that can be done about it but I'm frustrated and wanted to vent. Has anyone else had experience with this?
