Feeling defeated at my 38+1 week appointment....😭😕

I get there very excited to finally see if all of the tricks I’ve done to promote dilation have worked and if I can get a stretch and sweep...

Well nope, my cervix is closed and a still a bit high.. baby’s head is low so that’s really good but I feel so defeated

I have tried just about every to aid my body to dilate and nothing has worked. YEAH YEAH I get it, baby will come when he’s ready, so don’t comment that, I’m really not in the mood to see it.

My body is tired and I don’t want to be induced at all.
