Wasted hospital trip 😭

So their morning I woke up at 6:30 am to go go the bathroom. My pad was dry- it was a great time. Laid back down——- got back up at 8:30am and everything was wet. I soaked thru my overnight pad, my undies.... like everything was like someone took a sprinkler to it . Smelled like straight up cleaning products.

My first thought “omg my water broke” because I was WIDE awake laying there for two hours. Called my husband and while we are on the phone I feel tiny gushes . OMGEEEEE THIS IS IT.

Got to the hospital and all the nurses upfront were like “yep deff your water from the sound of it.” Cue happy mama because who doesn’t want their baby?

Two hours in triage room for the amniotic test. Nurse comes back “ummm it’s negative?” And says she will get my discharge papers ready.

I don’t know how I soaked through an overnight pad with VAGINAL FLUID like they are claiming it “must have been” . I dunno my heart hurts and I cried on the way home with my husband in the car. 😭😭😭😭
