Baby moving at 39 weeks

I'm 40+5 weeks, is it normal that my baby only really started to move at 39 weeks? He's never moved so much and I'm not sure if I should be concerned. He's always slightly moved. Before 39 weeks he never really kicked or punched, but now he moves around really hard and I can see him moving around in my stomach and I feel him almost all the time. I'm 5ft and I'm not really overweight. Has anyone else experienced this?
