Child Custody Question

Hello Fellow Moms!

So recently my spouse and I broke up and we have two children together. He also has three other children with another woman. She has awful history with dyfus and neglect and such forth. Today in the mail he got a warning saying if he does not pay the backup child support he owes to her within a week that he will be getting a warrant. He also has a court case coming up were he and his other baby mama have to go to court vs dyfus to try to explain why dyfus shouldn’t take there children. Apparently she has to work so she’s not going and if he has a warrant he will just get arrested if he goes there so he most likely won’t show either. So if I go to the court house and file for full custody do you think these circumstances will help my chances better on getting full custody? Instead of 50/50. Before you bash me no I am not trying to never let him see his children again. It’s just he only shows up when he wants on his time whenever it’s good for him. Or makes excuses to why he never shows up when there false excuses and he just doesn’t care to come around. I would just like to have full custody so I don’t have to play his waiting around games and so on and such forth.
