Folate, and what else?

I’m currently 8w2d. I know I am running a little behind of getting the things I need, I’m 20, & this is my first pregnancy, and I at first I wasn’t sure if I should get folic acid (most women suggested not since it doesn’t digest right and whatnot, though the doctor said to) so I am going to go buy folate tomorrow, and what else? I’m not even quite sure what folate is, but I should be taking prenatals as well?

I went to my local grocery store earlier and they didn’t have folate so I’m wondering should I just go to Walmart or target or something? Could y’all potentially post a photo of what y’all are taking just for reference, thank you so much!!

If any of you have any advice or think of anything i need to stay away from as well please feel free to comment below! I’m aware of most foods and stuff to not eat, I’ve mostly just been eating pasta, pickles, and pasteurized cheese.
