Asking money for kids birthday gift tacky?
Has anyone ever heard of a fiver party? We are invited to my friends 2 year old birthday party and the invite says in “lieu of gifts we ask you bring $5 so we can purchase a bigger gift instead”. Is this a new thing? I mean it is cheaper for me but I find it tacky when people ask for money.
