My husband left for a work trip overseas...

...while I took our daughter to a family reunion. We were both sad that he couldn’t come to the reunion. I had to leave a couple days before he did, and I’d get back several days before him as well.

I just finished the 12-hour drive home with a cranky toddler. I got back utterly exhausted only to find that before leaving on his trip, my husband cleaned the house, replaced all the burned out light bulbs, and mowed the lawn. He also left a pint of my favorite ice cream in the freezer.

Then I found this downstairs in our bed:

He knows I hate sleeping alone. ❤️

I can’t wait for him to get home! Our 7-year wedding anniversary is this weekend and we look forward to celebrating together. I love that he still finds little ways to surprise me. He’s really the best.
