Felt like period but ended up being BFP?

So, everyone always talks about how they had all the pregnancy symptoms and just “knew” they were pregnant. But has anyone been so certain they were getting their period due to having all the same symptoms as they usually do (including mild cramps prior to) and ended up with a BFP? Can I please heard your stories?

Yup! This is my 3rd baby and a BIG surprise. On March 16th I had bad cramping, sore nipples, nausea, back pains and headaches normal for when my period is suppose to arrive. Ignored it since my period was due the 18th, the 18th came and it didn’t show but sometimes it’s a day or two late so I still ignored it but kept having the same symptoms. Well I left for college and stopped to get panda and when I got home I sat down and the smell of the food made me sick THAT is when I knew something else was wrong. I went to the dollar store and BAM there is was and here I am 20 weeks pregnant.

I had cramps and took a test anyways and literally threw it away before it processed because I just knew I was getting my period. I used that bathroom and that test was on the top of my garbage 2 days later and was a BLAZING positive. Retested and sure enough, pregnant. It took 8 tests to convince me

Yup! The only reason I thought to take a test when my period was late is because I had just downloaded the glow period app and figured out that we did the deed exactly on my most fertile day. Then it showed me when my period was due and it didn’t come for three days. I had my usual period symptoms: cramps, my CM disappeared, I got more poopy 😶. Then I took a test 3 days after AF was due and had an unmistakeable BFP.

Mine was a bit of a mix .. I was totally convinced my period was coming but a tiny little part of me thought something weird or different was happening which prompted me to take a test. But I was still sooooo shocked when it was positive especially because we weren’t trying at that time. Still had all the usual PMS symptoms except my boobs were more sore and tender than usual..
