My husband over the last 2 years has had 6 jobs including the one he has now (working with me). I myself and my father put in recommendations for him for this job.

He has lost all of this other jobs because he always is “sick” and can’t go to work.

His probationary period ends on October 8th. Only 6 months. That means they could fire for whatever reason they want because the union doesn’t protect him until then.

This job is a stickler for attendance. I’ve told him and many others have told him. Not to miss any days and to limit what his does. He’s already missed 4 days sick (every 2-3 weeks since starting). We have a week long vacation in a week.

& he made a big show this morning of getting “sick” in the bathroom and is now trying to leave work early

If he loses this job I’m done. I can’t deal with the stress of him not holding down a job. I can’t afford all the bills alone, and he has racked up so much debt from getting credit cards I told him not to get in the first place. I’m just so frustrated I don’t know what to do.

Yes I have told him this and tried to talk to him

Yes he has gone to the doctor each time and been told he has a stomach virus.

(How does he have one every 2-3 weeks but perfectly healthy when he’s not working)

We haven’t even been married a year yet (married last October) he had seemed to have his shit together and then after the honeymoon shit hit the fan even worse

@cece yes I know what anxiety can do I had health issues that caused me to miss a lot work due to it last year and the beginning of this year. Thats what I meant by I can’t handle him not working
