Hot dogs while pregnant?

Anyone else eating hotdogs? I didn’t know hotdogs were a food to avoid while pregnant. I normally don’t eat them but I crave them and have been eating them during my pregnancy. Should I stop? I knew deli meats and some fish were off limits but didn’t know hot dogs were bad.

Deli meats and hot dogs are fine. They recommend to cook/heat it to kill off listeria, but the chance is listeria exposure is so small. You’re also likely to get listeria from improperly washed fruits and veggies.

You can have hotdogs and deli meat as long as they are heated through!! I crave hotdogs every now and then so I make sure they are heated through to kill the bacteria!!!
