Anyone else’s baby refusing to sleep in crib lately?

My son screams and cries when he is in his crib but sleeps through the night if in bed with us, which is what we usually resort to once we have tried to get him to stay in his crib for way too long. Anyone else in the same boat or have tips on how to change this? I know we can let him cry it out but both my husband and I can’t handle watching him cry for very long.

My daughter did this, we took one side off her crib and put up a rail and it seems to have helped but she prefers to be in bed with us

Raya was difficult to begin with at bedtime, now it's impossible to get her to sleep without letting her cry for at least ten/fifteen minutes after unsuccessfully getting her to bed 😫

My son has recently been very hard to put down. He will fall asleep on me but as soon as I put him in his crib he wakes up screaming. Several nights this week I've had to try for at least an hour before he would stay asleep and i could go pass out myself.  It is exhausting lol
