So I left my daughter unattended

The first time I left to go in the kitchen and her dad was sitting right in front of her. She falls back with her walker ontop of her, so she starts crying. I understand babies fall but she was in his eye view. I get a phone call from my boss, I put our daughter in the play mat infront of him and left the room so I could hear him properly. My bf storms upstairs and puts our daughter in her cot and complains I left her "unattended whilst he was sitting with hot soup which spilt. She kept trying to climb up my leg". OK I'm like how is she unattended if you're sitting right there?! Please explain. All you had to do is put the soup aside like I've had to do in the past jeezzzze
