Can I use miracle whip for Cole slaw?

Would it taste bad if I used miracle whip instead of mayo? I prefer MW over mayo, but I'm wondering if they are interchangeable in this recipe.
Also, I'm seeing recipes that call for white vinegar, and others call for Apple cider vinegar. Which one is better? I have never made coleslaw before, if you can't tell lol

Mayo is a far superior product. I am a mayo snob and only use Hellman's. I prefer apple cider vinegar in coleslaw, but either is fine. Go lighter on the mayo to start with and add more if you need. Mayo is delicious, but you want to taste the other stuff too.

I am sure you can use both... I prefer mayo but that’s because I’m a fat kid 😝 and I’d use half the vinegar.... I actually leave it out of mine but that’s because I prefer a more sweet taste..... you do make the dressing before you add the cabbage and carrots so taste it before you add the cabbage and carrots and see if you like it...
