He’s distant

My crush is being distant.. we used to talk everyday not all day but you know check in with each other. He’d come over once a week, cuddle then go home. We saw each other last Tuesday and Thursday and we had a lot of fun. Since Friday I’ve been feeling him get a little distant, i don’t pry. I asked what’s wrong and he told me he’s feeling unaccomplished and wants to work harder. He’ll text me once a day now? I have a feeling he’s pulling back? Maybe what’s happening is too much. I avoid being clingy and won’t double text, wouldn’t want somebody pestering me. If it continues I’m just gonna keep it pushing and cross him off my list, i don’t have many friends so i came here to vent. I know he likes me, i know i didn’t do anything wrong, it’s more of what’s going on w him. I’ve created a space for him to talk and be honest, we’ll see how that goes.
