What time do you test for an OPK?

So I started using opks and are wondering what times do you guys test? I usually test around 6:30am right before I leave for work and then again at 5pm when I get home from work... some one told me that I shouldn’t test in the morning since it’s not accurate?!? Any advice of what times I should take an opk.

Depends on the type you have. I test late afternoon just once a day between 3-6pm. Have never missed my surge.

I always did one in the morning and one at night (wasn’t religious about the times) and they worked for us with both pregnancies.
