5 week ultrasound... is this normal?! Please help!

Hi everyone! I been through it so far this pregnancy and need someone to put my mind at ease. Had a vaginal ultrasound due to spotting last Wednesday.. all they could see was the gestational sac so they cancelled my next appointment only until they could confirm it was a ‘viable’ pregnancy. HCG was 2032 and progesterone was 9.4 on the day I got this ultrasound.

I had an abdominal ultrasound done at an ultrasound place on Sunday (4 days after first ultrasound) and they could now see the yolk sac now but not fetal pole or heartbeat yet. No more spotting since and I think the spotting I originally saw was from a cut (tmi- I’ve been super constipated)

My dr final called me back saying they are putting me on progesterone and retaking my HCG. I can’t talk with my doctor, I’ve only been able to speak with ultrasound techs and medical assistant. So just been reading lots of stuff online.. my question is, is it very alarming that the heartbeat hasn’t been visible yet as I am only 5.5 weeks today. I have an ultrasound coming up on Wednesday but I’m so worried. We are really excited but afraid now that I’m being put on medication and that no heartbeat has been detected.
