What dog food is actually good for your dog?

I try to give my dog good dog food even though I’m on a budget. I bought her nutro which is 15 for a small bag, and now it’s on the heart disease list. 
What food do you feed yours? I’m looking for something I can buy in person because I cant order dog food online

I feed my German shepherds Royal Canin.  I used to feed them Fromm but it’s on the bad list so I switched and they love the new food.

From what I read on the heart disease thing that came out it has to do with grain free. My vet explained grain free the same as the gluten free hype in humans. If your dog isn’t sensitive then there’s no reason to avoid it. There’s always going to be studies saying literally everything causes a problem so if your dog is happy on nutro keep them on it. My vet uses Purina pro plan for her own dogs. My dogs use the nutrish beef and brown rice and they are happy and healthy.
