30 seconds apart...

Calie

To those woman beginning to think about, plan, worry about and over think every detail of delivery, here is my story. I got home at 5:30 almost a year ago, and being 36 weeks pregnant I didnt do much besides cook dinner and put my son to be. I sat down at 8, and felt horrible gas pains that passed, but came back. After 45 minutes of this I decided I'd lay down and fall asleep. The second I sat on the bed I led myself. I was like, seriously! So I went and put a pad in, changed undies and played back down, and pee again.i was pissed, but then I noticed a pink tint. So I started timing the gas to 13 min exactly apart. I'd had Braxton hicks son I told hubby I was going to take a batch. In the bath now 930 or so the pain got enough that I started to verbally say ahhhoouuch. I called the doc and she said to drink water and out feet up they should stop. I'd seen her one day prior and dialted 0, so ok. I decided to pack some.bags in case and have my son picked up. I kept busy cleaning. I paused each pain and it got enough I had to stop and grab a wall. And then my mucus plug. But I kept going as hubby played video games. All of a sudden he goes, hey your like 30 second apart when do we go get checked tonsee if it's real labor? It's now midnight lol. I was like...um we should already be there!!! So we go! On the way they stop. Entirely. So we grabbed Wendy's. We decide to go check, and as soon as we get there just pain. They came back with a vengeance! Doc confirms I want peeing it was amniotic fluid, so we got all hooked up. I tried natural but finally at 2 am the doc said tha baby needed more oxygen so I had to get an epidural. I did and them I fell asleep:) I got woken up at at 630 and the doctor said I was dilated and wanted to try one push. They had all the nice gear there and specialists ready to help my premature baby who they suspected may not be developed. I breathed through the fear and pushed and she stopped me. She said the head was out...one push. One more she said and baby was out! 10 minutes after prepping to push my beautiful was born. 7lbs even 4 weeks early, and ready to go:) it's been almost a year now, but I wanted to share this so woman could hear that sometime labor can go easy, and it can all be ok:) dont stress you can handle anything.
