What should I get?

Question

The swing is just for newborn, jumper is 6-12 months but the rocker is newborn to toddler. I can only get one and I'm debating on what would be more useful and baby would like better.

My girl loves her swing. It’s nice to have something that moves and it gives me a brake. She’s 13 weeks now, still loves it. Maybe get one that doubles as a bouncer, so it’s kinda like having a portable seat. You really don’t need a jumper. Turns out it’s not all that great for their development, not that I think it’s a big enough deal to be paranoid over it. The rocker eh I don’t have one but I picture that the seat it turns into would just be another thing that is in the way and that a toddler wouldn’t use enough for me to find it useful and taking up space in my home.  I had a mini lazy boy type chair and I don’t even remember sitting down in the thing at least not more that a few minutes haha idk just what I picture when I see things like that.

Swing for sure, I got all three, swing was my closest friend until she was 6 months. She liked the jumper but for no more than 15 mins at the time. And the rocker never used it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I said jumper only because my daughter hated swings. She did occasionally sit in her bouncer while I took a bath but it was short lived. Haha it’s hard to know before the baby comes. Make sure whatever you choose has a good return policy in case. :)

Buy a swing that allows you to take the base off and use as a bouncer. My baby likes the swing the best and will fall asleep in it. I use the bouncer to move around quickly in order to shower or work in the kitchen. You still can buy a separate bouncer for around $30.00.

You can get all of these lightly used on offerup, Craigslist, etc for probably a combined $50 if you look! If you absolutely can only get one a jumper is the best because that 6 month age where they are super active but Obly a little mobile, it’s great to be able to throw the. I’m and get stuff done. not all babies like swings and the rocker I have and it’s not that exciting and toddlers don’t want to sit, like ever lol! Good luck!!

My daughter loved the swing and we took it everywhere. It’s not just newborn though. She was in it till 6-7 months. We travelled a lot and every place we went to we ordered a swing from Marketplace or a friend arranged it for us because she wouldn’t sleep without it.

What should I get?
